The Bible is one of the greatest books on Psychology ever written. It teaches man how to live. It is a book of psychological values. Love God and love your fellow man.

Proverbs 4:26 "Ponder the paths of your feet and let all your ways be established." This verse to me means we are to weigh mentally where we have been and where we are going. We are to let All our ways be in order and we are to be prepared.

You can do that if you develope the four steps in your Upper Nature: Good senses, loving emotions, beliefs of social fairness, and useful habits. What other scriptures do you have?

2Ti_1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
When I struggle with fear I repeat this mantra! I have Power...I have Love...I have a Sound Mind!

Try challenging your fear, that it is powerless, only momentarily a glitch of the mind resulting from perceiving things as more dangerous then they really are.
